As of now malinis na. Just used Avast Home Ed and removed the virus with the On-Boot Scan Option. In this way kasi hindi pa loaded lahat ng virus sa memory so yo9u can repair or delete them. But in my case I deleted the infected files.

By the way, the sality virus will infect all .exe files kaya hindi mo na ma-launch mga infected programs. Sa aking kase workstations ang infected kaya I jsut copied working .exe files from other workstations and avoid reinstalling the programs.

So far okay naman yung remaining computers. Or unless mag deep freeze na muna.

Stick na muna ako sa avast for the meantime.

PC Co Computers has been INfected with Win32:Sality Virus

Post by ryudo05 on Fri Mar 13, 2009 12:24 pm

We also suspect an intrusion o nthe file server.
